IN REPLY TO OTHER USER REVIEWS: Do not try to unbolt the mount plate, it slides off. Put some muscle into it. Push opposite the direction of the chrome latch on the mount plate.The instructions are lacking, if you find yourself getting frustrated, there's no shame in going to your local bike mechanic and spotting them $20 to put it on for you.Now to the review:I got this and put it on my '11 vstrom 650.Mounting is straight forward, quality is great for the price.Genuinely no complaints. A $1,000 alternative may be better but this one is a steal for what you pay.I've used it in the rain multiple times and it seems solidly water proof.The 65L is plenty of space, but it does look bulky on the bike. This doesn't matter to me though, it's just so useful. I use this thing as a grocery getter pretty often.
