I have used this style of shield ever since they became available both with and without fairings and the only thing that is better is a full face helmet closed up. I used to ride 365 days a year here in the SE like the Carolinas. with a shield like that except that this one is a greatly better quality to anything that I used before. They have the least problem with fogging when you stop when its cold ChuckShield was very difficult to install...afraid to remove it for fear of breaking it. Once installed great product. Shield is very sturdy ,does not vibrate. Good visual acuity. Goood weather protectionAs of right now I haven't had any issues, I rode my bike in the highway and the shield has given me good protection,it hasn't come off while riding, which i was scared of. I gave it four stars only because it is kind of difficult to put on when you receive it as a flat plastic sheet, I was scared to damage it, luckily it didn't happened and the second reason is the smell, it is pretty intense still don't go awayFirst, a disclaimer - I'm old-school in my taste for helmets and face protection. I wear a full-coverage but open-face helmet. I needed a face shield that would work with my visor and this one does - it has two-way snaps on it. The shield is plenty strong and very clear. I haven't ridden with it on yet because it is still winter here, but expect it will be a good shield. With care not to scratch, have gotten two seasons so far (21k miles) from one shield.Exactly as advertised and expected.Seem to be harder to find with the rash of full face helmitsIt is good quality and has good clarity and installs just like the others I have used.nice and thick and clear, but it didn't fit the helmet I bought it for (a Mooneyes helmet from Mooneyes) Helmet had five snaps but the ones on each side didn't line up, not close at all.
